BoardsByShore Care Instructions

• After using your board, immediately hand-wash it with warm or hot, soapy water; rinse, and then always dry it thoroughly and immediately
• Never put your board in the dishwasher
• Never soak it, submerge it or allow standing
  water to sit on your board
• Excessive water exposure may lead to cracking, glue joint failure and other issues, so try to keep it as clean and dry as possible
• BoardsByShore are all well sealed with two to three coats of an oil-based finish. 
• After a curing period, a topcoat of citrus-scented Clark’s Cutting Board Finish Wax is then applied. Clark’s Cutting Board Finish Wax may be purchased through Amazon and used to refresh your board whenever needed.
• Just buff/rub the wax on liberally in a circular motion with a quality paper towel and then use a fresh paper towel to remove excess wax. Any oily feel will dissipate over time and can be reduced the more you wipe your board with a fresh paper towel
